Our Shopify app allows you to, automatically and in a bulk, copy all your Shopify store products, collections, pages, blog posts, customers and orders to another Shopify store. A few clicks and you have all your old store data duplicated into a new one. No technical skills needed.
You can use our service to change your Shopify's store url, to backup your store, clone your store for a testing store, to open stores in new markets with different currencies or languages, etc.
Note: The functionality to export products will not work for stores with more than 3,000 products. The functionality to export collections will not work for stores with more than 10,000 collection products. The functionality to export customers will not work for stores with more than 5,000 customers. And the functionality to export orders will not work for stores with more than 1,000 orders.
* - Due to Shopify's API limitations, the app will not be able to copy your navigation menus or the images uploaded through the theme editor (like your logo, your slideshow images, etc.). You will need to re-upload those manually.
If you find any issue with the exported data, you won't be charged.
You need to install our Duplicate app in your ORIGINAL store.
Your ORIGINAL store is the store FROM where you copy the information.
Your DESTINATION store is the store TO where you copy the information.
You can check the entire process here: demo video
No, our app is meant to be used once. It's a one-time payment for a one-time export process. Once completed feel free to uninstall our app.
No, our app will NEVER modify or delete anything from your original store. When you install the app, you will see it justs requests READ permissions, so it's impossible for the app to modify or remove any of your products or any information on your original store.
No, our app will not overwrite existing information in your DESTINATION store. Even in the case that, for example, a product in your ORIGINAL store shares the same product handle as in your DESTINATION store. Our app will always create a new product. The same goes for collections, pages, blog posts, customers and orders.
Yes. You might need to reinstall your apps (tutorial), configure your store settings (tutorial) and recreate your navigation (tutorial).
Also for themes with assets imported through the theme editor (logo, slideshow images, etc.), you might need to reupload those.
That should be all.
This might be the most "complex" thing you need to do to setup your export. Why do you need to do this? Because it's the way Shopify provides for third-party app (like ours) to access your store. That way we can create in your DESTINATION store the new products, collections, etc. exported from your ORIGINAL store.
We have a detailed step-by-step tutorial on how to do it here: How to get your DESTINATION store API Credentails. It will take you less than 5 minutes to complete.
The app provides you the option to choose which categories to export: to export just products and pages, to export products, collections and blog posts, to export products, customers and orders, etc. But it doesn't provide you the option to manually pick which products or other category items to export: to export this product but not that other.
Yes! The app provides you an option to include metafields (+$20) in your export. You will find the option clicking at the "More options" button on the setup page. It's important that you pick that option at the same time as the others. In case you pick it afterwards it will not export the metafields of elements already exported.
No, sorry. The app doesn't provide that option and if you want to export your collections it forces you to export your products. There is no way for us to know which products go on each collection without previously exporting your products. The same goes for exporting orders, that needs both products and customers exports.
All customers information will be imported, except for the login credentials. For security reasons Shopify doesn't provide access to that information, so there is no way for the app to export that information. No email notification will be sent through this process to the customers. But once the export is completed, using Shopify's Admin you can send the customer and "Account invite" so they can activate their account in the new store.
No technical skills are needed for using this app.
